  • Although diehard fans could have told you this already, AC/DC has been named the top drinking song band.
  • Whiskey retailer Flask & Barrel has released a list of the top 10 drinking songs, and AC/DC appears on it no less than four times. Checking in at number one is 1990’s “Thunderstruck,” followed by “Highway to Hell” at number two, according to the rundown. “Back in Black,” released in 1980, appears at number four, and “You Shook Me All Night Long,” also from 1980, takes the number eight spot, the list reveals.
  • Other songs appearing on the list are Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” at number three; the Eagles’ “Hotel California” at number five; Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” at number six; Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” at number seven; Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” at number nine; and Toto’s “Africa” at number 10, according to Flask & Barrel.
