Aerosmith To Finally Get Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Aerosmith has been one of America’s biggest rock bands for more than 40 years, so it might be surprising to learn that the Boston bad boys don’t have a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame. That’ll change on Valentine’s Day, when they’ll finally receive that particular honor.

On February 14, a star-shaped marker bearing the group’s name will be unveiled at 6752 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.  The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. PT, with as-yet-unannounced guest speakers, and, of course, the band themselves. If you can’t make it to the ceremony, you can watch it streamed live at WalkofFame.com.

“Finally! We have been waiting a long time to honor Aerosmith with their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” says Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez. “Aerosmith is one of the greatest rock bands in the world and we expect many fans will be ‘Crazy’ excited to see them honored!”

The band’s star will be the 2,657th unveiled on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
