Let’s be honest – a Pink Floyd reunion probably wasn’t going to happen anyway. But David Gilmour officially slammed the door shut in a recent interview with Guitar Player.
Gilmour says he has zero interest in touring stadiums again, saying “Its has run its course, we are done. I’m all for Roger doing whatever he wants to do and enjoying himself.”
Not that Roger Waters was angling for a reunion anytime soon – last year, he told Rolling Stone that a reunion “would be f***ing awful”.
Waters left Pink Floyd in 1985 has reunited with his former bandmates only once – for 2005’s Live 8 charity concert.
