Experts Say Gas Prices Could Drop Below a Dollar a Gallon In Some Places
One bright spot in the Coronavirus crisis is the sharp drop in gas prices this Spring, and if you believe the experts, they could continue to drop dramatically.
According to Gas Buddy analyst, Patrick DeHann, gas prices could soon hit a national average of $1.99, with $1.49 in the foreseeable future and even some stations dropping the price as low as 99 cents.
With Saudia Arabia and Russia both increasing oil production and all the travel restrictions dramatically lessening demand, it has created the perfect conditions for cheap gas.
Yesterday, Oklahoma had the lowest average gas price at $1.84 and Hawaii the highest at $3.47.
While the Coronavirus has caused a lot of problems and inconvenience for many, at least you should be able to save some significant cash at the gas pump for the time being.
