February 10th Marks The 45th Anniversary of The Release of Van Halen's Debut Album

Friday marks the 45th anniversary of one of the most influential albums in rock history: Van Halen’s self-titled debut.
Van Halen was released Feb. 10th, 1978, introducing the world to classics like “Runnin’ with the Devil”, “Jamie’s Cryin'”, and Eddie Van Halen’s iconic guitar solo “Eruption”.
The album got a cold reception from music critics, but was a hit with the fans – it peaked at #19 on the Billboard charts and would eventually sell more than 10 million copies.
