Metallica Fans Name The Band’s Best Song Of All-Time In Online Poll
Metallica has recently finished up a March Madness style online bracket tournament pitting their songs against one another, asking fans to determine which song is their all time best.
And according to the fans, “Master Of Puppets” is the champion.
The 64 songs were chosen by the number of plays each one has received on Spotify and the number of times each was played live.
After “Master Of Puppets”, “One” came in as the runner up. “Enter Sandman” and “Fade To Black” also made the Final Four.
The band announced the results with this statement posted on social media: “The people have spoken and single song stands alone above the rest. Your champion is ~ drum roll please ~ “MASTER OF PUPPETS!”… no wonder that thing is in the Library of Congress! Thanks for playing along with us!”
