Metallica Releases First Single From New Album and Announces ’23-’24 World Tour

- Metallica will be hitting the road in 2023 with a massive world tour and a unique new format.
- On Monday, the band announced the M72 World Tour, which launches April 27th, 2023 in Amsterdam and runs through September of 2024.
- The tour’s ‘No Repeat Weekend’ format will see the band perform on two nights with two completely different sets with different opening acts.
- Some of those opening acts include Volbeat, Five Finger Death Punch, Mammoth WHV, Greta Van Fleet, and the much-hyped Pantera reunion.
- Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, Dec. 2nd. Presale tickets go on sale Wednesday, Nov. 30th.
- Unfortunately, no local dates have been announced yet.
- The band also announced the release of their new album for next April and released the first single from it.
