Ozzy Osbourne recently postponed or canceled all the international dates on his No More Tours 2 trek as he battled pneumonia and other health issues. Now, the Metal Madman has delayed the 2019 North American portion of the outing until 2020 after being dealt another setback.
According to a new statement, Ozzy needed surgery after falling at his home last month and aggravating an injury he suffered in a 2003 ATV accident. The 70-year-old rock legend is currently recovering under a doctor’s care.
“I can’t believe I have to reschedule more tour dates. Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now,” Osbourne say.
“I’m grateful for the love and support I’m getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it’s really what’s keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!”
The North American tour, which was to have featured Megadeth as a support act, had a date scheduled for Hersheypark Stadium on June 8th, but that has now been rescheduled for June 6, 2020, at the same venue.
Fans are being asked to hold on to their tickets for the 2019 concerts, since they will be honored for the new 2020 dates.
