• It’s been eight years since Richie Sambora parted ways with Bon Jovi — and, apparently, his wounds from the breakup still haven’t healed.
  • The guitarist is calling out frontman Jon Bon Jovi, claiming his relationship with the band’s namesake wasn’t as harmonious as it appeared. “Part of my deal was to shut the f*** up,” Sambora says. “If I had a coffee place, the sign would say, ‘Have a hot steaming cup of shut the f*** up.’ That would be my coffee place. And you know what? Guess what? I did it. And it worked out because that’s what he needed for whatever reason. And I was working with him if he needed that kind of thing.”
  • Sambora’s comments come just one year after he addressed the possibility of his returning to the band, telling an interviewer, “It would have to be a special situation for me to go back, but I’m certainly not counting it out. I have no malice toward that band.”
