- Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Ricky Medlock has a certain gesture in mind when it comes to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
- Medlocke told Iridium Rock and Metal Reviews, “The thing that was kind of a blow to me was that I didn’t get invited or I didn’t get inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with the band.”
- He added, “The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame stated that I have not had any link or that I wasn’t significant to the career, and it didn’t want me being inducted with them. Here’s what I say to them,” and then flashed the middle finger.
- Medlocke played drums for Skynyrd from 1971 to 1972 and then he rejoined the band on guitar in 1996. He’s been a Skynyrd member ever since.
