• A new biography about Eddie Van Halen reveals just how singer Sammy Hagar felt about the band before he joined.
• “From the outside, I was impressed by Van Halen,” Hagar tells the author.
• Also in the book, Hagar reveals his feelings about David Lee Roth saying,  “I didn’t see how any guys could like him, but I guess they did.”
• The Eddie Van Halen biography is being sold as ‘Eruption’ in the U.K. and ‘Unchained’ in the U.S. later this month.
