Ticketmaster Now Offering Refunds On Tickets To Cancelled and Postponed Shows Due to COVID-19

Good news if you had tickets for a show this spring that has either been cancelled or postponed due to the Coronavirus crisis.

Ticketmaster has said they will offer refunds to anyone holding tickets to as many as 18,000 events that have been affected by COVID-19 so far.

Fans can request refunds during a 30 day period starting May 1st for shows up through the end of July.

Ticketmaster said it would deal with the 55,000 shows on it’s calendar beyond July at a later date, when it becomes more clear what the fate of the concert industry will be at that time.

You will have the option to exchange tickets for up to 150% of face value for a credit towards future shows or to donate tickets to healthcare workers.

Ticketmaster has already lost an estimated $2 billion in revenue from about 30,000 show that have been cancelled or postponed so far this year.
