According to Motley Crue drummer, Tommy Lee, the band’s reunion tour with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett this summer is still on in spite of the current Coronavirus pandemic.

“Everything’s still a go,” Lee told Billboard Magazine. “We’re all in constant communication. Nikki and I have been in several production meetings. You’re talking multiple stadiums, so it’s like two kids in a candy store putting together something people are going to walk [away from] saying, ‘Are you f–king kidding me?!’ That’s our mission right now, and it’s definitely headed in that direction.”

Of course it’s still too early to tell what the summer concert season will look like or if there will be any shows at all, but at least Motley Crue is still optimistic things will be back to normal by then. Ultimately, the decision will come down to local health and government officials.

The tour is scheduled to begin on June 18th in Jacksonville with local dates in Hershey, PA, and Washington, DC in mid-August.
