Wolfgang Van Halen Releases Statement Possibly About Being Involved In a Van Halen Reunion in 2019

Wolfgang Van Halen, the band’s bassist and son of Eddie Van Halen sent out a tweet possibly referencing a potential “Van Halen Reunion” which is spoken very frequently nowadays.

Here’s the statement:

“I’ve been pretty quiet this year. I spent 2018 staying focused, working hard, and moving forward on something I’ve never been this excited about. I can’t wait to share it with y’all. Seeya in 2019.”

He also wrote:

“If you you start playing Runnin With The Devil at 11:58:16, Dave (David Lee Roth) will scream “GOD DAMMIT BABY YOU KNOW I AIN’T LYIN TO YA, I’M ONLY GONNA TELL YOU ONE TIIIIIIME AAAAHHHHHHHYUEAHHH!!!!” at midnight. Start your new year off right.”

As you remember, a week ago rock journalist Eddie Trunk has claimed that Van Halen will reunite with the lineup of David Lee Roth, Michael Anthony, Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen.

However, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony talked about the reunion rumors and said:

“The only comment I have is that I haven’t spoken to any of the guys since we last played together back in 2004.”
